Established in 2012, Villas Formentera is an independent villa marketing and booking introduction service specialising in beautiful holiday homes in Formentera and Ibiza.

We carefully select villas that we believe are stylish, unique and full of island character, and connect guests with the villa owner or local agency responsible for the property.

We’re a small, personal business with a genuine love of the islands, and we’re here to make finding the right villa easy.

Handpicked by us – We don’t list hundreds of properties. We carefully select villas that we think are beautiful, inspiring, unique and have that special island feel, saving you time searching through countless properties.

Personally selected – We work with villa owners and local agencies that we know and trust, and we take care to ensure the properties we feature are suitable for our collection.

Local support – Your villa is managed by the owner or local agency responsible for the property. They will provide the information you need for your stay and are your point of contact should you need assistance while you’re there.

Personal service – We’re a small independent business, so you can speak to a real person. We’re happy to help you find the right villa and answer questions before you book.

Direct with the owner or agency – Once you’ve chosen your villa, the accommodation contract is directly between you and the villa owner or appointed local agency. They will provide your rental agreement, take payment and look after you during your stay.

Easy to contact us – You can contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp or Messenger. We’re always happy to help with your villa search and enquiries before you book.

Yes. Some of the large exclusive luxury villas are not displayed on our website for privacy reasons so please contact us with your requirements and we will email the brochures to you.

Arrival arrangements vary by villa. After your booking is confirmed, the owner or house manager will provide all the information you need, including arrival instructions and contact details for your stay.

Check-in is usually between 16:00 and 17:00 and check-out between 10:00 and 12:00 depending on each villa and how long they need to carry out a thorough clean between each stay. Please refer to your individual rental agreement for exact times.
Early check-in may be possible depending on the previous booking. It may also be possible to leave your bags at the villa until the changeover is complete and ready for your stay. Simply ask the owner or house manager before your arrival.

1. Find your perfect villa
Search our collection by the number of bedrooms you need, browse all villas or contact us with your requirements.

2. Send us an enquiry
Complete the enquiry form with your preferred dates, number of guests and any other requirements.

3. We check availability and prices
We’ll contact you with the price and availability for your chosen dates. We’ll also suggest other suitable villas if we think there are better options for your requirements.

4. Tell us you’d like to proceed
Once you’ve found your preferred villa, let us know you’d like to go ahead. We’ll collect the information needed to introduce you to the villa owner or local agency responsible for the property.

5. Receive your rental agreement directly from the owner or agency
The villa owner or appointed local agency will then contact you directly with your rental agreement and payment details. Your accommodation contract is directly with them, and they will take your deposit/payment and confirm your booking.

6. Your booking is secured
Once the owner or agency has received the required payment and confirmed the booking, your dates will be secured. They will provide you with all the information you need for your stay and will be your main point of contact for anything relating to the villa during your holiday.

We’re here to help
Although your accommodation contract and payment are directly with the villa owner or local agency, we’re always happy to help with your villa search and answer any questions you may have before booking.

Most of the owners & agents advertising villas on our website only have the facility for bank transfer however some can accept payment by credit card. Credit card payments will incur a small processing fee. Please refer to your individual rental agreement for more information.

Cancellation terms vary by villa and are set out in your rental agreement with the villa owner or local agency. Deposits are typically non refundable. Please refer to your agreement for full details.

The Balearic Islands Sustainable Tourism Tax (Ecotax) applies to stays in tourist accommodation in Formentera and Ibiza.
The tax is payable by guests aged 16 and over and is calculated according to the type of accommodation and time of year.
This is an separate charge and is not included in the total villa rental unless specified on the rental agreement

Yes. We recommend arranging an online supermarket delivery for your arrival – Supermercado Online Formentera
If you would like a delivery made before you arrive, please check with the villa owner or manager first to ensure someone can receive it.

We have a selection of recommended services that you can book directly with.
Some villas also offer additional services such as private chefs, babysitting and maid service. Please ask us about these when booking your villa and we’ll put you in touch with the relevant provider.

Yes, especially in peak season.
Many ferry companies operate a ferry service to Formentera from Ibiza. They leave from Ibiza port every 1-2 hours. You can search for the best deal and book instantly from our ferry service page.

Yes. Why not travel in style from Ibiza port to the port of Formentera and begin your trip with a little luxury.

Or if you need to get to back to Ibiza for a party, shopping or just having dinner, hiring a water taxi can be the quickest and easiest way to get there, at any time of the day or night. We recommend a private fast water taxi. They have two 12 meter RIB speed boats that can carry 11 people each (22 people total) to or from Formentera at any time you wish, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We work with a catering company that organise any chef services that you need at your holiday villa.
