Playa Migjorn

This beach seems to have the right amount of everything: great bars, long stretches of sand to sprawl on (of all Formentera beaches, it is the longest), and of course the typical stunning azure waters, which provide the ideal place to swim, play and snorkel.  Even in the busiest times, you can still find a spot that’s not too busy to lay your towel on! You’ll probably need a car or bus to get here from the port, for car hire, see our FAQ page.

Playa Migjorn is mainly a long stretch of sand but has smaller beaches as part of it, divided by small rocky areas.  The main beach is patrolled by Life Guards in summer and an abundance of umbrellas and sun loungers can be found for hire along its length. The beach is easily accessed from the many board walks that run along most of the beach, and recreational equipment can be hired in the summer months.

Playa Migjorn has many access points and is easy to get to.  Turn off the main road from La Mola to San Ferran on to one of the many roads that lead to beach front.
